OKI Withdraws From North America

OKI (OKIdata): Will cease its North America activities in 2021.

OKIdata, a Japanese company, will continue its global operations, but will cease operations throughout North America (US / Canada / Mexico) on March 31, 2021.

This decision stems from a combination of several factors including the situation not only with Covid-19, but also recent  events in Japan (earthquake, tsunami, etc.) and the relative position of the OKI brand in the North American market place.

Mighty Oaks has been OKI partner for many years.  However GoPanda division of Mighty Oaks has taken tsteps to begin the phase out of OKI product offering.

 Hardware / Printer / Hardware accessories:

• You will be able to order OKI printers and accessories until March 31, 2021 (or while quantities last) by special request by contacting Go Panda sales time.  We have removed OKI printers from the website and have not restocked our inventory.  We will bring in OKI products only by special requries.
• After March 31, 2021, OKI printers will not be available in North America.
• Supplies / Toners:
• OKI head office is committed to supplying inks / toners / parts for the next 5-7 years. Inks / toner will be available from GoPanda as a special request.  Contact our team for information.  
• Sales / support team in Canada will be in place for the remainder of 2020. Details to come in the coming months!

Ericsson to acquire Cradlepoint

Ericsson, Inc., announced that it has acquired Cradlepoint. This acquisition unites the global leader in LTE and 5G network infrastructure and technology for communications service providers with the global leader in LTE and 5G WAN edge solutions for the enterprise and public sector.   The partnership between Cradlepoint and Mighty Oaks (includings the GoPanda division) remain unchanged by this event.
